it's always something!: June 2012

Liv's begged me to take her to "A Miracle Idol" when she turned 16, since she was 4. So for city talent show she danced. Eight Loose Feet" is what her group was named. Some of the youngest in the show. They danced to Footloose. But not before losing about 4 members, auditioning and not hearing back for more than 2 weeks, and nearly forfeiting a couple of days before because of a lapse in dedication. It was. A miracle that she was in the show. But here we were for her BIG stage debut. Posted by Miss Brandy.

it's always something!: Isaac's Room
http://1dialtone.blogspot.com/2012/02/isaacs-room.html
Isaac turned nine on February 13th so I finished his room for his bday. He finally has baseboards and I re-did the trim around his doors. I wanted to paint a little more creatively but time did not allow. He's got chalkboard paint on his closet and that @#$% dull Pottery Barn comforter. I have yet to hang his new light and put the knobs on his dresser. Hopefully I can add that color soon. We got to see the Harlem Globetrotters thanks to Grandma. Posted by Miss Brandy. You little busy bee!

My Dad's the greatest around. He's reaping the rewards of parenthood by grandparenting all these crazies plus tiny Samantha, brand new. Jason, your reward will come in about 15 years when we get to grandparent :0) It's not my cooking that keeps you coming back, so it must be the kids. Is it too much to ask for all of them to look at the camera? Handsome, smart Isaac. Posted by Miss Brandy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Shelfari: Book reviews on your book blog. it's always something!: April 2012
http://1dialtone.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
I really saw that playing out differently in my mind. A few days back I had this awesome idea to start doing "2 a days" to up my fitness game. So far I have lost about 35 lbs or so. I 'm getting stronger again so realistically I am taking up less room now a days. I thought this is the level of dedication needed for the next 35 lbs. When I walked out of the gym I was on "E"people, I was so tired. I decided I needed a salad - a hearty salad. So I drank my "post work out" juice and began to think of small c...

Voting YES for Recreation Center Bond. This is what I know. The current pool is well past life expectancy and one small problem away from meltdown. The current pool costs over $300,000 to maintain every year. The new recreation center will be around $350,000 to operate. A pool pass now is $368/year/family. It has not been finalized but to use all of the facilities in the new recreation center will be around $400/year/family. Similiarly priced to other city recreation centers. Spanish Fork has been steali...

Friday, October 5, 2012. Good things come in 2s. You may think we've dropped off the face of the earth if you judge by my lack of blogging. Turns out we're still here. Still busy. Still mostly crazy. the sneaky petes: Overheard in the Back Seat
http://thesneakypetes.blogspot.com/2012/05/overheard-in-back-seat.html
Friday, May 11, 2012. Overheard in the Back Seat. Some of the best conversations take place in the car. Spencer: "Mom, if you buy some corndogs, I promise I will try one! He loves hot dogs and cornbread, but has thus far refused to let a corndog pass his lips. Go figure.). Even one with a hot dog in it! Spencer: "Jack, they all have hot dogs in them.". Jack: "DON'T BOSS ME! Me: "Spencer, you're arguing for the sake of arguing. Knock it off.". Ryan: "You have to go to law school to be able to do that.".
