Topsy-Turvy Honey Apple Pie. 2 ½ cups flour. 3 ounces or ¾ stick butter (cold). 2/3 cup vegetable shortening (cold). 189; cup ice cold water. In food processor, put butter, shortening, salt and flour. While food processor is on add ice water. Watch until the dough forms into a ball. Take out and put on plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours. Peel, core and slice up 8 apples into a large bowl.

I love to bake and do many crafty things! Monday, June 27, 2011. Finally, I had a chance to try a recipe from Sugar Baby Cookbook before I had to return the book back to the library. Definitively will be rechecking this book out many more times! Since this is such a new copy-written book I can't put the recipe on, so check the book out from your library, or buy it! A must have if you like sugar and love to bake! They dough was nice and light, I really enjoyed working with it. Aren't the swirls pretty?
