Musings of a redeemed one: July 2013

Musings of a redeemed one. Saturday, July 20, 2013. God's call for the Chinese church at this hour. Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Honouring our older brother. Perhaps it was because I was in a predominantly Chinese setting, whilst there, God gave me downloads in Mandarin. And one area He spoke to me deeply about is the role of the older brother. As I reflected on it, there was a realisation that Jesus is our older brother (Matt 12:47-49), we also have older brothers in nation terms. Monday, July 15, 2013.

Musings of a redeemed one: March 2013
http://redeemedforever.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Musings of a redeemed one. Saturday, March 30, 2013. Two nights ago - Maundy Thursday - we had an overnight prayer meeting in church. I love praying with my group because it's with a prophetic band of God-lovers! These are with folk, many of whom I've known for years. Over the years, we've journeyed with each other through life's ups and downs, I've seen some of them go through pretty trying times. Through it all, by God's grace, everyone has stayed fervent for the Lord! I move in Pentescostal circles, l...

Musings of a redeemed one. Sunday, September 29, 2013. Quotes on prayer and the prophet. 1 A man may study because his brain is hungry for knowledge, even bible knowledge. But he prays because his soul is hungry for God. (Leonard Ravenhill). 2 Don't pray when you feel like it. Have an appointment with The Lord and keep it. A man is powerful on his knees. (Corrie ten Boom). The prophet (Leonard Ravenhill). 1 He has a heart like a volcano and his words are like fire. Sunday, September 22, 2013. Jesus loves...

Musings of a redeemed one. Sunday, April 7, 2013. How our church in Singapore came to purchase the Bible College of Wales. The article below was written by Ps Yang, published in Charisma Magazine, and I reproduce it here. In September 2011, a small team of pastors from my church in Singapore went on a short assignment to Wales. Our assignment was to re-dig the ancient revival wells and pray at the very places revival broke forth in Wales in the early 1900s. Claiming Our Field of Lentils. When we got back...

Musings of a redeemed one: Spiritual sight
http://redeemedforever.blogspot.com/2014/12/spiritual-sight.html
Musings of a redeemed one. Thursday, December 25, 2014. In Psalms 119:18-19, the Psalmist prays:. Open my eyes that I might see. Wonderful things in your law. I am a stranger on earth. Do not hide your commands from me.". In Chinese, this reads:. Back to this passage in Psalms. It is telling that the word hide "隐瞒"is made up of a few characters. One is 急,or busy, rushed, harried. The other is 目, or sight. The others I need to ask my Chinese speaking friends haha. God said to Amos, "What do you see? Witho...

Musings of a redeemed one: Healing is here (Deluge)
http://redeemedforever.blogspot.com/2014/06/healing-is-here-deluge.html
Musings of a redeemed one. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Healing is here (Deluge). We sang this song at worship this morning, and WOW! What a amazing, anointed song. LOVE it! Remembered how the Lord healed me of my excruciating back pain last year, lengthened one leg so that both legs would be of equal length, and straightened my spine! Ps Yang said today God cannot stop himself from healing. He is Jehovah Rapha - The Lord My Healer. His name reflects his character, and who He is. Amen! How to be saved! Thank y...

Musings of a redeemed one. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. And here is the wonderful story behind the hymn. 8217;Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,. Just to take Him at His Word;. Just to rest upon His promise,. And to know, “Thus saith the Lord! Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;. Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more! Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,. Just to trust His cleansing blood;. And in simple faith to plunge me. I may ...

Musings of a redeemed one: November 2013
http://redeemedforever.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Musings of a redeemed one. Sunday, November 24, 2013. Touring the Affordable Art Fair today, I asked the Lord to speak to me through the art pieces. At one point, we stopped at a gallery display of works by the Italian artist Franco Anselmi. Now, I don't know the works of this artist, but had been attracted to them initially because of their whimsical nature. This one is called "Owl on Cat". It spoke to my heart. As prophetic people, do we see completely, as God sees? What is kingdom vision anyway? At th...

Musings of a redeemed one: June 2013
http://redeemedforever.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Musings of a redeemed one. Saturday, June 22, 2013. Powerful combinations in the Spirit. Recently, The Lord has been teaching me about powerful combinations in the Spirit, where 1 1 is more than 2. These combinations are like dynamite in the hands of God's children; powerful weaponry in the arsenal He has given us. Here are the three combinations He has given me revelation about recently:. 1 Prayer and fasting. There is no way you and I can fulfill our divine call without the power. Of God. When we f...
