Englishman In Japan: About
http://dsomedia-englishmaninjapan.blogspot.com/p/stories.html
The blog of an Englishman married to a Japanese lady who split their time between England and Japan. I am a writer, Japanophile, music lover and married to a lovely Japanese lady. Oh. and I'm English. Ever since my school days I've been writing and publishing. I worked in intellectual property licensing for 14 years and have helped build one-man businesses, to multi-million pound enterprises, both in the not-for-profit and private sectors. The blog of an Englishman married to a Japanese lady who split their time between England and Japan. Tuesday, 3 September 2013. Amazon's Kindle is most popular e-reader in Japan (finally! Back in April 2012 I posted about my surprise at the complete lack of e-readers in public in Japan (" Wot! I subsequently posted that I'd spotted a few but nothing like the numbers one sees in the UK - especially when commuting on the train. Particularly caught my eye. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The blog of an Englishman married to a Japanese lady who split their time between England and Japan. Tuesday, 21 January 2014. 1 Question About Travelling to Japan? I'm doing some research for a book project and I've been wondering. what would be your #1 question about travelling to Japan? Would it be: "I don't speak Japanese - is that gonna be a problem? It all looks so overwhelming - where do you start? I don't like Japanese food - what can I eat when I'm there instead of sushi etc? Links to this post.
Englishman In Japan: July 2012
http://dsomedia-englishmaninjapan.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
The blog of an Englishman married to a Japanese lady who split their time between England and Japan. Thursday, 12 July 2012. Local Heroes: Rios Bakery and Cafe, Ashiya, Hyogo. Had been buying freshly baked bread from Rios each time we visited. It was lovely. To be honest, bread in Japan is still a relative novelty (compared with England where it is a staple of the diet any hour of the day) and good bread in Japan isn't everywhere. Links to this post. Englishman In Japan: September 2012
http://dsomedia-englishmaninjapan.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
The blog of an Englishman married to a Japanese lady who split their time between England and Japan. Friday, 14 September 2012. Not A "Falling Down" Moment. Hamburger in the Mos Burger fastfood restaurant. In Japan that would never happen. At least not in any chain restaurant. In fact, I think that most of the time the real thing actually looks better. Than the menu image! The menu images are often graphics rather than photographs. Which is rather ironic when you think about it. Why not. One thing about ...

Dublin School of Mandarin Chinese 都柏林中文小學. Chinese Studies for Children! Our school has been approved as the Overseas Compatriot School from the Department of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan.
