A new job and a child later, I’m back working in financial services for one of the largest employers in the state. My commute is half of what it once was and I enjoy my downtown workplace. Des Moines is wonderful! I am not a farmer. My tiny field always becomes overgrown by September. I am left with nearly nothing by harvest and I will try again come April.
