Final tune-ups are in order for this coming weekend to get ready for the August 1st start of the Local Food Challenge. After our visits to local farm markets, etc. This weekend we'll have the basis of the first week's menu in order. Hopefully it will be organized enough to post it here. Devoted to the great foods of New Jersey. Saturday, July 16, 2005. We took the time today to visit the Trenton Farmer's Market which is not in Trenton. Its about a 1/2 hours drive away. There were a lot of booths carrying everything from fresh vegetable and fruits to meats, breads and even a dairy.
