Saturday, June 30, 2012. Lime Pecan Butter Cookies. Always know where it is and can be lazy the next time I look for it. Be able to share its yummy goodness with everyone! Lime Pecan Butter Cookies. Preheat oven to 350. Spray or butter baking sheet(s). 2 cups a/p flour. I don't use a lime. Just about 4 tsp of key lime. 3/4 cup unsalted butter cut into cubes. If using (so much easier to use key lime. Juice). Squeeze juice out of lime. Remove all seeds, add zest and set aside. Zest and 2 tsp of lime.

It has been taking me a lot longer to read lately as there are only so many hours between the time the kids go to bed and the time I finally pass out from trying to do too much. I have read a lot about "Gone Girl" lately but I usually like to start at the beginning of a writer's catalog so I borrowed Gillian Flynn's first two from one of my book buddies. Sunday, July 29, 2012. Day 14 - Part 2. Watching the Olympics. Actually, watching Inspector Lewis on Masterpiece Mystery. Love me some Masterpiece Mystery. Was watching the Olympics earlier and while the Chinese may have an outstanding synchronized diving team, and the US get a silver metal those judges obviously had something against Abby Johnston and Kelci Bryant. They were great! I am very happy they came in second but their scores should have been higher. Well done to them though! It was pretty tasty...
