The river ended in the sea, but the apples never reached there, because the wind spreaded them, all over by the sand. Apple beach, was and still is, the name of this place. Today, the river and the water sea, are polluted. This summer 2008 Apple Beach will not have the blue flag, symbol of the lack of it's water quality.
