Eldale Veterinary Clinic was started by Dr. Murrel Bauman in 1961. Murrel started up the clinic right out of veterinary school, based out of his house located at 13 Herbert St. in Elmira. For the first 3 years he was the only veterinarian with the clinic. The clinic operated out of the house for 3 years when it was decided to build a new clinic in 1964. Interesting Factoids about Eldale:. Most of the large animal surgeries were originally brought to the clinic, and there could be upwards of four a day.

Dr Adrian Miltenburg, DVM. Dr Adrian Miltenburg started working at the Eldale Veterinary Clinic right after graduating from O.V.C in Guelph in 1974.He grew up on a dairy farm in Holland and later moved to a dairy farm in the Lucknow area with his family. He is especially interested in ruminants and completed the Dairy Health Management Course. In 1995. Now he spends most of his days doing dairy herd health visits. He thinks the Elmira area is ideal for a veterinary practice. Dr Paul Stauffer, DVM.
