Friday, January 10, 2014. 24 Day Challenge day 5 complete. I'm at the halfway point for the cleanse phase. Ok, today's meal plan:. Breakfast - Meal Replacement Shake with banana mixed in. Morning Snack - hummus on whole wheat tortilla. Lunch - Salad with romaine, carrots, red bell peppers, tomatoes, hard-cooked egg, and homemade Italian dressing. Afternoon snack - forgotten. I had hoped that a weekend away would help to reboot my toddler whose behavior seemed to be escalating to new heights of physical outbursts, but I was sorely mistaken. While he had a great time with his grandma and was relatively well behaved while there, returning home meant returning to his previous state. Oh well, the adventures in parenting. Friday, January 10, 2014. Ok, so, end of day 6 on the 24 Day challenge means I'm a quarter of the way through. Today was pretty good. It flew by. I was working on some projects for the kiddos (educational games, activities, worksheets, etc) and trying to get laundry and dishes done. I feel like I blinked and the day was over. No nap out of either kid which meant emotional meltdowns out of both of them this afternoon. Alrighty, today's meals:. Breakfast - oatmeal with blueberries. Afternoon Snack - popcorn.

Life As A McFadden. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. On Saturday, November 12, Cary and I experienced our first AHL game in Maine- the Portland Pirates versus the Providence Bruins. Before the game, Cary and I took the opportunity to go birthday shopping for Brylee, and then went to dinner at IHOP, where I attempted some exquisite pancakes: white chocolate chip peppermint. Oh my! So delicious, but I know that this is a try-once-per-holiday thing. Cary had pecan praline pancakes, which he also raved about.
