June 6, 2012. Today we toyed with the idea of a variable at a hypermarket, Mercadona. Each of us chose a variable and walked around the market, observing things that fit our variable. In other words, we had a “bucket” (variable) and found things that would belong in that bucket. Something that stood out to me was that the price labels were smaller, and definitely not like the Wal-Mart-sized giant labels we are used to back home. I saw maybe one or two signs that had a slightly larger price label on it.
