Monday, 8 December 2014. Our Little Christmas Elf. Last time, I said I'd share some photos of Bo in his elf hat. Now, I know that I'm ridiculously biased here, but I think (for your own safety) I need to offer a. I wanted to do a mini 'photo-shoot' with Bo, to get some pictures that I could use for family Christmas cards. I thought that the elf hat I'd just finished making (which I posted about here. Would be a good prop. So, let me introduce our little Christmas elf, Bo. 8 December 2014 at 16:33. Bo is ...

Now, I hope that you weren't just kidding (or just being kind) when so many of you said you were looking forward to seeing lots of baby-related craft projects popping up here. If you. Were, sorry, because. I wanted to do a quick show-and-tell of the very first little thing I made for our Little One. You know - just in case! I don'...

Monday, 28 October 2013. Baby Quilt Christening Gift. I have another crafty show-and-tell for you today. It's another quilt! With such a special gift to make, and such a specific brief, I was pretty nervous about how it would turn out. But, in the end, I was really, really happy with it. So was my friend. And so were the parents of her new Godson. Phew, phew and phew! Does the name add or detract? I'd be grateful for any comments on this. Thursday, 24 October 2013. That's not true. I H. Friday, 26 September 2014. Daddy and Me' Bow-ties. Just a quick one today. My parents are going to be visiting for a couple of weeks (yippeeeeee! So I'm 'scheduling' this post in advance. Do you remember the snap-on bow-ties I made for Bo? You can take a peek at them here. Well, he gets LOADS. Of wear out of them. I think they're really cute and, as they just snap on to his vests, they make an easy going-out outfit. Simon always laughs at Bo in his bow-ties, and thinks they're great. So. SURPRISE. Since ...

Thursday, 26 June 2014. Last week, I showed you some snap-on/snap-off bow-ties that I made for our little one. Well, I got a bit addicted to making tiny bow-ties for a while. And I ended up making quite a few. Originally, I planned to sew them. But I discovered that (for most of the stages of making), it was easier and MUCH. Less fiddly to use fabric glue! So, here they are:. When I was photographing the bow-ties, I just. Have to just quickly show you my favourite:. Friday, 20 June 2014. On my last trip ...

Saturday, 13 December 2014. A Visit from Sankt Nikolaus. When we woke up last Saturday, we'd had a visit from SANKT NIKOLAUS. Now we have Bo (who was born here in Germany), we decided that this was a tradition we'd like to start in our household. When they go to bed on the night of the 5th December, German children leave their boots by the door. In the night, Sankt Nikolaus stops by and stuffs little gifts and sweets into the shoes. Opening my stocking pressies on Christmas morning! Christmas-related thi...

Friday, 29 August 2014. Thank you all SO. Much for your sweet comments on my last post. You're all so kind! This time, I wanted to show you a quilt I made for Bo, before he was born (of course BEFORE. He was born - I haven't yet found the time for ANY. Too expensive, or a reasonable price but WAY. Too flouncy/pastely/twee for our tastes. Then we saw this 'mini-cot' on Kiddicare. It was exactly what we'd had in mind - and it was a sensible price! Use quilts for babies), but I had to make one just the same!

Wednesday, 24 December 2014. Salt Dough Handprint Decorations. I just wanted to get in one more post before Christmas. And I saved my favourite christmassy make 'til last. It was my favourite because it was a joint craft project with Bo - his very first craft project! We made salt dough decorations, with Bo's teeny-weeny handprints on them, for family Christmas pressies. Of course, I made one for us too - and hung it on our tree. Now, all I have left to say is. And see you in. Saturday, 20 December 2014.

Friday, 18 April 2014. Lately, I've been trying to sort through and get rid of. Of the thousands upon thousands of project photos I have saved on my laptop. And, in the process, I've come across quite a few things that I'd meant to show you but forgotten all about. One of them was the black, grey and white bunting I made for my sister (to go in her bedroom) for Christmas. By the way, I think I see a bunting project for the Little One's room in my crafting crystal ball. So, here's my monochrome bunting:.
