Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Just before Christmas break, the kids promoted in Karate. Katie to high purple and Tommy to blue. They both still enjoy it and are doing really well. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. We had a nice quiet Christmas at home. I missed our families but I enjoyed the laziness I mean togetherness. Mike spoiled me! My favorite was my new camera. Monday, December 1, 2008. You would think since we live in Colorado we would get a lot of snow but we've learned that is not always the case. Some winters we get dumped on all winter long and some winters we are lucky to get enough to play in. The boys were so excited to get enough to actually play in over Thanksgiving! Jason got his first chance to rev the snow blower up. Even Chewie liked to bounce around in the snow even though the snow just about covered him. Nothing like a good snow day!

Tuesday, July 9, 2013. My "Baby" is Gone. I've known this day was coming. The nearer it got, the more I wished it away and wished time to stand still. My baby isn't a baby anymore. Today - my ClaireBear is 3. She was our "happy accident" - and in these past three years she has given us so much happiness. She brings out the best in all of us. Daddy crumbles with her smile. Sunday, April 8, 2012. Recently someone challenged me to find "gratitude" in what you are least grateful for at the moment. Write five things down about that thing, where people can see them, and make sure to reflect upon that gratitude. I can put the list on the refrigerator, on my mirror - or on this blog. So - today I was complaining about working on Easter Sunday. Then multiple problems popped up at work, and I found myself complaining more. Something for my "gratitude" list. I love this, Kat!
