Who can remember this kind of pain? My soul is dehydrated,. In need of truth. These chains on my feet pull me down. I feel my lungs collapsing. No hope in sight. Then, there is a beam of light. Growing bigger and bigger, He comes. He comes to pour water on my soul. The water is sweet and nourishing. My belly brims full with joy.

It was the enemy, oh so clever with his attacks and lies that are still deeply permeated inside me. How deceptive was he? The benefit of being aware of the enemy is that he loses power in the presence of Christ when we exercise His power in us. Do not be fooled, do not be deceived, but put on the whole armor of God.
