We Rate The 'Que. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Road Trip - Day Two. Six o'clock this morning, and for whatever reason, it appears that everyone is (at least) awake! We patiently waited for our launch time, which is 7:30 AM. We were joined by a couple nice cars.a Dodge Challenger, and a Camaro convertible. According to our mapping, the trip to Ft. Walton Beach is 340 miles, and takes about 6-1/2 hours. Add at least an hour to that for a slow down as we pick up another cruiser. We all got a decent sunburn!

But over several years, it has evolved into a car show with highly-detailed cars on display. We decided to add it to our bucket list of events, and we're making a mini-weekend. Saturday, June 12, 2010. The Rest Of The Trip Home. Since the Hot Rod Power Tour was being held in Memphis on Thursday, then on to Mobile on Friday, some of the Power Tour vendors were staying at the same hotels we were. Comp Cams was there, as was the National Guard recruiter, and a couple others who were driving unmarked vans. We couldn't even get a lousy T-shirt out of any of them! Bottom line.we stopped for fuel along I-10, and while Cecil and I grabbed a quick Arby's. Cecil and I stopped at NPD.
