Thursday, December 27, 2007. I love planning a trip.honestly, like my father, I think that I get more pleasure out of the planning than the actual trip sometimes. I like the details, finding a deal, searching out a place to stay, anticipating visits with friends and family. I like it all! I just read an excellent book by Nicholas and Micah Sparks titled Three Weeks With My Brother: A Memoir. So, with that in mind, I am fully looking forward to my upcoming journey. Thursday, September 14, 2006. OKI think that I can finally be nice today, so let's see if I have anything rattling around in my brain that I can talk about. Oh, here is a challenge for me.5 things I like about New York. 1 I have 2 next door neighbors whom I really like and will miss when we leave. They have been exceedingly kind to me and to my kiddos. 2 I have been blessed and challenged at the church that we have attended here. Posted by Becky @ 4:09 AM. Oregon, United States. Thursday, November 09, 2006. Can I just say that I am so disappointed in "friends" and that I SO love my husband? We have had so-called friends flake out on Troy, not once, but twice, to help him move some stuff to our storage unit in NY in the past week. Can I just say that a friend that helps you move is closer than a brother? Oh, BTW.love you even more Bob and Tonessa! Posted by Becky @ 3:59 PM. Thursday, November 02, 2006. So they say that confession is good for the soul. Posted by Becky @ 1:15 PM.

Breakfast delivered each morning. Good, local restaurants with great seafood. Card games, reading recipes together, knitting, talking. Posted by Becky @ 8:38 PM. Oregon, United States. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Lest you think that I have forgotten about this blog. I am sticking with the old adage, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I will be back to writing here when it won't all be a rant! Posted by Becky @ 9:06 AM. Sunday, August 20, 2006. What is it that makes us want to have new beginnings? Well, in only 6-7 weeks, I get another do over, and while in many ways, I cannot wait.there is one area that is already grieving me. Posted by Becky @ 1:56 PM.

Tuesday, January 23, 2007. I cannot remember a time when I was not in love with them - with the books themselves, cover and binding and the paper they were printed on, with their smell and their weight and with their possession in my arms, captured and carried off to myself." Eudora Welty. I LOVE this quote! It sums up how I feel about books and explains why e-books will never do it for me. You can't touch or smell an e-book.how impersonal. What are you reading lately? Make-A-Mix by Karine Eliason. Wife,...
