Scraps one week on. Scraps version 0.5.0.15 ». Working on “phantom damage” in multiplayer (v0.5.0.13). July 17, 2015. A few players have reported getting “phantom damage” in Internet multiplayer – damage that seems to come from nowhere, often just after spawning in. It seems to occur mostly when servers have a bunch of people on who all have different latencies. Would be cool if someone wants to let me know if things seem any better, or the same. You can now get assist points for helping to destroy a vehicle so “kill stealing” is less of an issue. I’ve been thinking about potentially more complex solutions that would also help direct gameplay, and you can join the discussion here.
