A Glimpse of Sunshine. December 7, 2010. A Glimpse of Sunshine. The weather early in the week was very bad but I managed to capture this shot of a farmhouse near my home when there was a break in the clouds on Wednesday. I liked the dazzle of yellow colour when the berries on the pepper trees and the field of asparagus were lit up. Also the sunlight gave form to the building. Laquo; Avenue of Almonds. This church is typical of those built at the end of the 15th Century after the conquest of Granada. It has recently undergone a facelift costing several hundred thousand euros so I thought it warranted a photo. San Gabriel is not the principal church in Loja.
