Sunday, August 18, 2013. Saturday morning stroll in the forest. Its been a beautiful but slightly cooler summer than most in Montreal but today was spectacular. Blue sunny skies, not too hot or cold, the perfect day for a walk up the mountain. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. People's climate march Montreal. We joined thousands of people in Montreal, and many hundreds of thousands around the world, in the People's Climate march. It was the first protest march for our kids and they enjoyed it. Even baby walnut was there (in utero)! Nothing like sharing a vanilla milkshake with your favourite sibling! Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Greg had some work to do up in Quebec City so we took the opportunity to visit this most European of Canadian cities once more, this time in the snow. We had a great time seeing the ice sculptures from the winter carnival, the snow in the old town, and the only ice hotel in Nth America! Victoria, Vancouver Island. Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Our new edition (complete with the newest country, South Sudan). Saturday, December 14, 2013. Its too cold to play outside now - except in the snow - so we are making the most of the inside play areas close by. Its starting to feel very festive here. There's snow and lights outside, the house smells like christmas tree (yes a real one! The nativity scene is made and we are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus. A little slice of the life of a dancing pig! Sunday, 8 November 2009. Sorry for the silence, somehow 3 months slipped past without me getting my act together to update piggy heaven! The new job is good and keeping me busy but I'm feeling much more settled and on top of things now which is a good thing! So between the last blog and now the biggest news is that my hockey team won the grand final! My first grandfinal win ever! T was very exciting and was a great way to end the season. So to the new news!

Time to get into action and finish everything off and tidy up all the loose ends so that I don't feel like I've left anything half finished. Wednesday, 8 July 2009. Paul and I celebrating 1 year. Passengers and crew interned at the quarantine station passed their time away by engraving details of their ship into the sandstone rock walls.

Friday, April 17, 2015. Skiing in Mont Sutton. We had a great weekend skiing with some friends in the Eastern Townships. Just an hour and half drive from Montreal, we found a great little cottage to stay in, and had a wonderful couple of days in the snow. The skiing was fantastic, and the kids even got in on the act!
