Skip to main content. Five Days in Paris 3. August 9, 2015. I wandered around the Notre Dame area with a friend. One street away from Notre Dame you can find this restaurant. The exterior is always decorated. They really decorate it big time when Spring arrives. It’s always nice to cross the Seine. August is the month a faux beach is created along the Seine. A look from up above. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window). August 15, 2015 at 2:55 pm.

Skip to main content. August 16, 2016. Seen around Paris on my last quick trip there. As usual, it’s architecture and a window. The back of a museum. One of those unique tin roofs pretty common in Paris seen from the Picasso Museum. A closeup of a photo posted before. It was used to watch for enemies possible coming down the street-or so I once read. Here’s my window. Doesn’t it just get you? Flowers, shutters, open window. August 14, 2016. I thought this was so beautiful. Sort of a typical sculpture.

Of course we did! I finally got a chance to see the inside. This was the main lobby. There was another smaller one too. It wasn’t quirky to me but shabby chic. I wish I had a window like this to put a sailboat in. The coat rack by the door. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window).
