http://pamchristiansen.blogspot.com/2010/10/being-clear.html
Pam Christiansen:Painter.Printmaker.Instructor.Collage Artist.Creativity Consultant. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. A few days ago I saw the Picasso exhibit at The Seattle Art Museum. It is an amazing show. The thing I find most inspiring about Picasso, other than his incredible vision and skill, is his commitment to each subject. This is what I was feeling as I worked on this print. Thank you for your comments. Hope you visit this site again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Pam Christiansen:Painter.Printmaker.Instructor.Collage Artist.Creativity Consultant. Monday, May 24, 2010. This was a fun, a monotype with metallic collage materials. I photographed it with the flash so the shine of the metallic would come through. The shiny surface contrasts with the dullness of the ink so as you move around the piece it is constantly changing it's focal point. Links to this post. Monday, May 17, 2010. Painter and Blues Drummer. I started painting over a decade ago when I was living in Seaside and studying plants. I had acquired a landscaping job without knowing how to garden. I spent hours talking to G Lo (Grandma Lois – master gardener, world traveler, all around sass and ruler of the black family realm) until she would pretty much hang up on me, “is that it? 8221; I know when I send him a photo and get on the phone I am always going to see what I am working on in a different light. Pam Christiansen:Painter.Printmaker.Instructor.Collage Artist.Creativity Consultant: I'm back!
http://pamchristiansen.blogspot.com/2011/01/im-back.html
Pam Christiansen:Painter.Printmaker.Instructor.Collage Artist.Creativity Consultant. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. I broke my wrist during the holidays and have not been able to post or do my art. So glad to be healed and with new inspiration, I'm ready for a new series of monotypes. This one was part of The Roby-King December show. It was an exciting attempt to see how deep of a red I could create ( go to the very middle of the piece). Labels: Deepest Deep 2010. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
