T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad: New Rolling Stock
http://tsmrr.blogspot.com/2011/05/new-rolling-stock.html
T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad. My first N scale model railroad. This morning I picked up my last order from Model Train Stuff. Six SSW box cars from Exact Rails. And six SP gondolas from BLMA. All cars are really well done with great details and features metal wheelsets. BLMA's gondolas have body-mounted couplers also. Here are some pictures. T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad. My first N scale model railroad. More Photos of Track, Turnouts and Servos. S promised here are more photos I took this morning. Few close-ups of turnout throwbars with the actuating spring wire plus shots from below the plywood of servos mounted using the Motrak Models. I taped the plastic ties to the foam in order not to lose them before placing under the rails. Servos and brackets fixed below the plywood. To answer a comment from Tom I have to say TVD. Thanks...

T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad. My first N scale model railroad. Backdrop Mountains and City of Oakland. And these are some photos of the mountains I painted so far:. This is a short video I took with my iPhone:. Lastly, this is a shot of the 9th Ave Terminal where I wanted to put the skyline of Oakland. I made a model using a sheet of paper. To me the buildings are too large and appear too close comparing with the mountains far in the back. I think I should shrink everything one t...Watch for...

T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad: March 2011
http://tsmrr.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad. My first N scale model railroad. Ig milestone this one. I started laying down the first pieces of track. Actually not yet tracks, however I marked down where the tracks should be on the entire right section and glued down some cork strips. This -in addition to be more close to the order of industries on the prototype- will leave more space for the ConAgra mill better using the available space in the right corner that previously was used simply for scenery. Two v...

T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad. My first N scale model railroad. S promised in a previous post here are the new cars I received recently from my last two orders. Exact Rails ATSF covered hoppers and either COFC or TOFC from ConCor. Click on a photo to see the whole Picasa album. Esterday I went to a quite big home improvement and DIY store and bought additional sheets of 3/4" extruded foam I planned to use on top of the plywood, as the base layer. Today I cut various pieces to fit the thre...

T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad: June 2010
http://tsmrr.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
T&SM RR - Time and Space Machine RailRoad. My first N scale model railroad. New locomotives and rolling stock. Esterday I received my last order for a new diesel locomotive and a bunch of cars. The loco is -guess what- an Atlas Southern Pacific EMD GP35 in the Kodachrome color scheme, if I'm not mistaken. Along with it I also bought a drop-in replacement DCC decoder from Digitrax, a DN163A0. Here's the usual collection of photos of the new entries. New locomotives and rolling stock. Clouds in the Sky.

Diorama operativo in stile americano gestito dalla Chicago and North Western. Switching layout based on C&NW railroad. Quest'oggi abbiamo realizzzato l'impianto elettrico.

BARI-Taranto in scala 1:160 (SMANTELLATO! Plastico in scala N (1:160), raffigurante la linea Bari-Taranto e Gioia del Colle-Gravina. Casello e Passaggio a livello.
