Currently our ranks include over 800 individuals, companies, organizations, and agencies who have helped us become one of the preeminent voluntary conservation organizations in our area. Public Lands Day 2007-A Huge Success! A special thanks to our 150 volunteers! Together we spent 586 hours:. Repairing an eroded shoreline. Planting 220 native plants. Removing 520 invasive non-native plants. Clearing out 7,100 pounds of trash and debri. Hauling 60 tires and a boat out of the woods. Installing 8 bird nesting boxes.

On May 5, 2006 we were fortunate to have New Jersey Fish and Wildlife come to Fort Dix to band our two eaglets. Mick, a Fish and Wildlife Employee, ascends the 60 foot pitch pine tree that holds the nest. The eaglet in the bag!
