The Friends of the Pedlar River. Have been monitoring macro invertebrate populations at several sites in the Pedlar River watershed (Amherst County) since 1997. Per year, they average 10 Critter Hunts involving approximately 250 participants. Who planted the first trees in the Forest Study Site are in middle school now, and some of their trees have topped 20 feet in height!
