Ordinary Family, Extraordinary God: December 2011
http://marcusaanna.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Oh Boy, or Girl, Our Gender Reveal Party! Well, the day finally came. The day we found out if our little one was a boy or girl! So exciting we can hardly wait. As the cake sat in our house, it was hard not to do something to sneak a peak. Marcus had an idea of sticking a toothpick in an inconspicuous area of the cake so no one would know. Thus, just like I thought the baby was going to be a boy, so did the wives tales. I guess we'll see soon if they are right! For the entire group, the total tally was 7?

Ordinary Family, Extraordinary God: The Start of Many Changes to Come
http://marcusaanna.blogspot.com/2012/02/start-of-many-changes-to-come.html
The Start of Many Changes to Come. As we prep for a lifestyle change, we have also been prepping the baby room for our baby girl who will arrive in April. First up is painting the room so the furniture can be put in place. When I got the call about when the furniture was going to be delivered, it left us less than a week to paint the walls. Here are some of the before photos. And FINALLY, after looking at the colors during the day and in the evening over a couple different days, we decided on "Cool Pink"!

Ordinary Family, Extraordinary God: March 2008

Costa Rica was a great time! We played in the ocean, in the hotel pool, in hot springs on a volcano, and in the rainforest. We went deep sea fishing, horseback riding, ziplining, water sliding and got vocanic mud wrapped! Of course, there are tons of pictures.so I'll throw just a few on here! Also of note, we officially joined a CSA with friends of ours. We are looking forward to excellent environmentally conscious responsibly grown (and good tasting) produce! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ordinary Family, Extraordinary God: February 2012

Shower #1, making this more real. Last weekend, I had my first baby shower, ever! I was actually a little nervous because it all seemed so surreal and made the fact that I am going to have a baby feel a little more real. It was also so fun to have a reason to get together with some wonderful women and celebrate the pending birth of another female! I am so grateful for all of my friends and family that attended the shower. I appreciate all of them so much! Ok, so I may have had a few of the cupcakes!

Ordinary Family, Extraordinary God: Couples Shower
http://marcusaanna.blogspot.com/2012/03/couples-shower.html
For each couple in our Bible study group that was going to have a baby, we had a couples shower. These showers are fun because the guys are included even though I don't know how much fun they actually have. So, now it was our turn! We started out eating lots of good food made by the other wonderful ladies in the group! And check out the AMAZING diaper cake made by Bethany! I love that it is so girly! Also, note the delicious cupcakes on the left! Here are the lovely ladies of the Bible study! Notice the ...

If you have never purchased a home and are even remotely contemplating it.yes, your hunch is correct! NOW IS THE TIME! Not only can you capitalize on historically low interest rates and rock bottom home prices, you can collect one of many government stimulus benefits. $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit! Up to $35,000 for a rehab loan! The overused cliche "you snooze you lose" might actually be appropriate in these economic conditions! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
