And still more birds. I have birds on the brain.maybe because of spring.probably because I've always had a soft spot for them. And when I see some fabulous bird prints, I go weak in the knees. Facebook page.I was smitten.a back and forth exchange ensued.soon my package arrived.8 bird prints were mine. Better late than never. While looking for something in my office the other day.which I can't even remember what it was at this point. I came across a folder of collage materials. I will often collect materials for a piece and put them all together in a folder so that the ideas and theme stay intact. I prepped a canvas today to finish up this collage.minus the cow. You can see the completed piece at. August 15-16 at the Everett Marina.I hope you'll stop by. Amy of four corners design. Links to this post.

four corners design: Reconstruction
http://fourcornersdesign.blogspot.com/2015/05/reconstruction.html
I've been working on collages for summer art shows. And in keeping with my word(s) for the year, dig deep. I am doing just that. I've dug out a few past collages that somehow didn't work. And taking them apart.removing some elements, tearing apart others, cutting portions out. And then combining the elements back together, strengthening the composition, adding in new objects, layering on paint or transfers. A feather tied on with jute twine was the last serendipitous touch. Amy of four corners design.

A recent lesson in bestill52, my online creative class with. Was to take one thing and see how many different ways you could photograph it.
