I’ve gone from being intimidated by anything more than a very basic PowerPoint to now incorporating Google calendars, Jing clips, wikis, webquests and all kinds of other really interesting and engaging tools into my day to day practice and what’s even better is that I’ve started to realize just how many others are open to doing the same. I’ve been incorporating webquests throughout my (young) career and at times I’ve had to listen to a number of colleagues question the professionalism/validity/effectiveness of allowing students to take the driver’s seat when it comes to displaying knowledge.
