Welcome to my site. I’ve just begun the job of uploading information, so bear with me as I collect my notes. This research focuses on my paternal family, the Cirillos, who emigrated from Reggio Calabria around the turn of the 20th century and settled in Springfield Massachusetts; and my maternal family, the Houstons, who moved westward in the 1800s from Pennsylvania. I hope family members will find the history surprising and the medical history useful. November 16, 2007.

Cirillo Genealogy

http://genealogy.mcirillo.com/cirillo.html

I didn't have much to go on when I started this genealogical quest to learn more about the grandparents and aunts and uncles I never met. I want to thank Dick Cirillo (Joe's son) for the few photos of the family he was able to send me. I hope I will meet more of the family and maybe even make it to Reggio Calabria to see the country our ancestors left behind. This site is dedicated to Emilo M. Angelo "Nick" "M.M." "Mike", or as I knew him, "Daddy". Ilario Cirillo and Rosa Cavallaro. Died in Temple, Texas.
