Table Mountain

One of Cape Town's many attractions is Table Mountain. See www.tablemountain.net. It offers magnificent views. The best views of Cape Town are seen from the top of Table Mountain. The Cableway takes you to the summit in under 10 minutes and the cable car's rotating floor (way cool) ensure that all passengers get a 360 degree aerial view of the city. My favorite view is of Joni. She can't keep her hands off me. Who can blame her? We were up above the clouds; an eerie view. Go to Geno's Home page.

My friend John and I went sailplaning with the Fault Line Flyers. In Briggs, Texas for a 2nd time. This time I flew in what is known as the Grob (pronounced grobe), pictured above. This is a high performance sailplane. It has perhaps a 30/1 glide ratio, which means for every 30 feet of forward movement it only looses 1 foot of elevation compared to the 233. One of the club members holds the wing level as we are about to be towed. Here we are right after take off. I wore my Adventure Cam II from Viosport.
