Back in Africa on a new journey. Instead, as many of you know, I have taken an unpaid leave from RSPB (my employer in Liberia) and am doing a Crossroads. Volunteer placement with WiLDAF. A friend of mine who also ended up in Accra after leaving Liberia posted a photo on Facebook that I thought was an excellent illustration of the differences between the two countries so I am copying her and posting a similar photo here showing crisp new Ghanaian money beside old tattered crumpled bills from Liberia.
