Going where the breeze takes us. Day 7: Slow going. The day was very slow the wind was below 5 knots we had to motor most of the day. We tried putting up the number 1 sail the red and white one you see in the photo’s at the start but the wind was so light that the sail rubbed on the rigging so had to pull it down again. Going where the breeze takes us. Day 9: Back on dry land. After a great nights sailing, the wind died in the early morning and we were left to motor along the coast to Southport. As well as losing the wind, we also lost the swell and the waves and so our final run was smooth. This morning we caught our first fish.
