Monday, July 30, 2012. Happy Anniversary to Us! Kellen and I made it to the first big anniversary last week. It has been five years since we covenanted to love each other and sacrifice and put each other's needs before our own and it has been wonderful.well most of the time. As I reflected on the past five years I decided to make a little inventory of our time together. So here goes:. 5 years of marriage. 5 century bike rides. 10 different places of employment. 3,950 I love you’s. 1,675 kisses goodnight.

Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Pictures from my summer office:. One of the Unexplained Mysteries of the Racetrack Playa. Its the Italian version of "Click and Clack" hard at work on the Enza section, Emilia-Romagna. Standing in the crater of Mt. Etna, an active volcano in Sicily. My favorite church- The Gaudi Cathedral in Barcelona, Spain (not work-related). Very cold and very wet in Torrente Stirone, Emilia-Romanga, Italy. The terraces at Ainsa, Spain to make FJP jealous. Kink folds in the Pyrenees.

Monday, January 4, 2010. Our New Year's Trip To California. After the Torch Light Parade we spent the evening at a local tavern where there was live music. Kellen and I ducked out for a couple of hours and walked through the Village and went ice skating. We rang in the New Year dancing, laughing and having a good time. We spent the first day of the new year out in the field. My Dad and Nancy took us to some of their favorite places around Big Bear and Kellen explained the geology. Doug E. Fresh.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Topsail Island with my Sisters. For the first week of August all the Gunderson women, plus a few extras, converged on Topsail Island, North Carolina for some fun in the sun. We spent our days at the beach and our nights doing facials, manicures and pedicures, and watching Steel Magnolias. It was fun to spend so much time with my favorite part of the Gunderson family. He had gotten a hold of one of the neighbors dog beds and ripped it to shreds in my flower beds. Boy was I happy when I saw this. Just hanging out in the hoodie. When we dressed up for the school parade she wouldn't dress up as anything put she did well with staying dressed up for trick-or-treating. :).
