Aptly named "staghorn" sumach for it's young branches being velvety like the antlers of deer. Stunning red leaves in fall. Best know for it's large clusters of flowers/fruits. Flowers/fuits start. Native shrub, which produces small yellow flowers that are great pollen sources for bees and butterflies. Leaves turn a rusty red in the fall. Spreads well, great for slopes and controlling erosion.
