Living Joyfully at Home: {this week}
http://livingjoyfullyathome.blogspot.com/2012/11/this-week.html
This past week the sun came out! I still have lettuce in the garden. I love fresh salads. Honestly, it is such a joy to grow your own greens and amazing how little space a salad garden takes. Here's a few pictures we took this past week and there is one of me.just me.possibly a first. :). Chandler researched dirt bikes and gave a short speech today on this topic. He truly enjoys learning and using computers. The laptop (thanks mom) has added to our homeschool in a really lovely way. Having a ...Friends o...

Tanek's Tales: June 2011
http://lifewithtanek.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 6, 2011. But, we met several families from all over the U.S. and even some from Canada! Tanek was enjoying his cupcake to the fullest! He and his new friend, Brogan, were playing "monkey see, monkey do" most of the time they were together. Whatever one did, the other one had to do, too.except Brogan's cupcake was blue. Some of the other kids Tanek enjoyed playing with. Links to this post. He had a good time playing down at the beach everyday before we went to the pool! Links to this post.

Living and Learning on the Move: The largest HOLE in the United States!
http://livingandlearningonthemove.blogspot.com/2011/10/largest-hole-in-united-states.html
Living and Learning on the Move. The largest HOLE in the United States! Wow, did we learn a lot at the Kennecott Copper Mine! It's kind of funny because Frank said this was going to be boring, going to see a "big hole in the ground." LOL! We learned all about the history of the copper mine, safety, green issues, and so many more. I think the two areas that the kids enjoyed learning the most about was the specific minerals that were mined (in other words, beautiful rocks! If you would like to see more of ...

Lovin-Laughin-Learnin: March 2009
http://lovinlaughinlearnin.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
March 5, 2009. A friend sent me this video today - it is AWESOME! If you have just a couple minutes to spare, I think you will really enjoy it. March 1, 2009. He only gets a birthday every 4 years and this year wasn't one of them! That's what happens ya know. When your a Leap Year Baby? Good thing he is still loved though and he gets to celebrate whether it is technically his birthday or not! Here our boy made him his own flag, out of PVC pipe, paper, tape and markers! I think the most amazing part though.

Swinging on Small Hinges: Wilson's Creek National Battlefield
http://swingingonsmallhinges.blogspot.com/2015/08/wilsons-creek-national-battlefield.html
Swinging on Small Hinges. Monday, August 10, 2015. Wilson's Creek National Battlefield. We had a fun weekend finishing out our Civil War studies with a trip to Wilson's Creek National Battlefield! They were having reenactments and it was a PERFECT timing! The girls, of course, decided to dress up (until it got too hot and they were grateful it was the modern days and they could shed those dreadful bonnets and hot dresses! We took a selfie (or tried to anyway) in front of the Selfie Board. Me and My Girls.

Dayspring Disciples: August 2015
http://dayspringdisciples122.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Serving the LORD. Serving our family. Trying to serve lunch. August 30, 2015. I picked up Pictionary. Which is about as quiet as Yahtzee. But it is a lot of fun. August 29, 2015. Some friends of ours unloaded 7 or 8 Disney ties on the boys. The cheesy pictures are to show another dad just how groovy they clean up. Since we finished the basement some 3(? Years ago, I’d be suggesting to the kids to use that area for a quiet place to do school. None of them ever liked the idea. August 25, 2015. We do not ha...

Dayspring Disciples: January 2015
http://dayspringdisciples122.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Serving the LORD. Serving our family. Trying to serve lunch. January 30, 2015. Baby’s big boo-boo. I saw it unfold before my eyes and couldn’t do anything to stop it. Running after Hanny, Katriel tripped and started to go down. Just inches ahead of where I could reach and falling far faster than my legs could cover the distance down she went. And before her head ever hit the wall I knew –just knew- she was too close. Her head hit the corner and snapped back, me encircling her mid section as she went down.

Dayspring Disciples: The joy of mud.
http://dayspringdisciples122.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-joy-of-mud.html
Serving the LORD. Serving our family. Trying to serve lunch. August 7, 2015. The joy of mud. 5,000 pool in the back yard didn’t hold a candle to the fun that they found near the swing set. Tabitha (and Hanny) dug a hole under the swing. Tab filled it with water in an extremely clever way. And happy. (Really – she is happy.). The boys opted to use a sprinkler under the trampoline – an activity Nigel unintentionally named “sprinkoline.”. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Dayspring Disciples: November 2014
http://dayspringdisciples122.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Serving the LORD. Serving our family. Trying to serve lunch. November 30, 2014. O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree…. With our artificial trees aging and appearing more and more dilapidated, we just could not bring ourselves to dragging the old things out of the basement this year. I don’t care for pre-lit trees which are all the rage in the stores these days, and I wasn’t eager to “shop around” with our days being as busy as they seem to be these days. The kids didn't even get candy canes to eat on the w...
