amore's mansion: August 2006
http://amorebrison.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 30, 2006. I've finished the plastic handbag. I made it with one handle and a crocheted toggle 'n loop as a closure. I am pleased with it, but I'm not sure if I will use it. It doesn't feel as strong as I would like it to when I put a couple of things in it. I need to see if there is any way of strenthening it. Usually when I knit a bag I always line it and strengthen the strap/handle with fabric as knitting can be stretchy. Posted by amore @ Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Im really please ...

Tuesday, October 24, 2006. I cant believe how long it has been since I last posted. I have completed my first pair of crochet socks, on my third attempt. I am so happy, and am proudly flaunting them to anyone who might be vaguely interested. The true colour of them is on the top photo, as you can see my photo taking/editing skills are poor but I'm sure you can get an idea of how they look. Posted by amore @ Tuesday, October 24, 2006. View my complete profile. I confess, I am a tardy blogger!

Knitting my time away. Or is it frittering my time away? Still, I've made a place for me to mutter. Thursday, October 25, 2007. Can't come to the blog right now. 1) Nursing a little baby black eye. Which my CAT gave me last night. 2) I've finally got onto Ravelry. You can find me under susoolu. Let the time sucking begin. Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Feeling deflated, and apparently rather red. And a sweet little jumper, in horrible, horrible acrylic. Do I like Cat Bordhi's new book? And not a little scurr...

amore's mansion: February 2007
http://amorebrison.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 24, 2007. Hi there again,. My camera is recharged and bursting with pics. First up is a pair of crochet socks with a folded cuff and button detail. I used town and country sock yarn, but as the pattern required 150g I did the inside of the cuff in plain burgundy 4ply. Unfortunately my photography skills are very limited, I am only able to point and click and download, so the colours are not brilliant. The buttons are tiny cats, from a pack designed for card making! Just as an appetiser...

amore's mansion: September 2006

Monday, September 25, 2006. I've decided I quite like doing crochet. I have finished the stole, without the tassles. I thought they would look too cowboy-like. Having completed my first crochet project I was spurred on to try another. I looked through my patterns and chose a small shoulder bag in cotton. I altered the pattern slightly and embelished the strap with ribbons and beads, and made a closure also with ribbon and beads. It's lined with a pink, blue lilac squared cotton fabric. Sorry :O( I am d.

Knitting my time away. Or is it frittering my time away? Still, I've made a place for me to mutter. Friday, April 13, 2007. MC Nuts and the Wordsworth Rap. If you want to know more, go here. If you want an alternative take on Wordsworth and his daffodils, try Yarnstorm. Ladies and Gentlemen, I share this with you only because I consider it my duty, a matter of vital public interest, and because I have no knitting to show. Because who can knit, when MC Nuts is in the house? Monday, April 02, 2007. We can ...

Knitting my time away. Or is it frittering my time away? Still, I've made a place for me to mutter. Tuesday, September 18, 2007. Because I promised, and because I am in love with them, herewith prawn pr0n and sheep. (And a cat, being a prawn.). Happily, fortuitously, Prawn then got a friend, to keep him company. For the deeply talented Mary-Lou. Still to come, mitten (and now mi), and more pressies - something from the very prescient Wye Sue. Owner of the niftiest combinations. Lookie, lookie, Mary-Lou.
