Henley-on-Thames | A guide to Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire
Henley-on-Thames is a town in Oxfordshire located on you guessed it the River Thames! The town has been around since 1179, so has quite a bit of history, as do most towns in ye olde England. Notable places to visit include Henley Bridge, which was constructed back in 1786 and is a five-arch bridge over the Thames. The bridge recently underwent 200,000 repairs back in 2011 after a boat damaged it. Other places of interest include Marsh Lock, St. Mary’s church and the Old Bell pub.
