So, Mr. S went in for his first professional haircut (clippers and all). I was stunned at how much it changed his look! He looks so much more like a grown boy and not a little baby. His hair is also so much lighter now that most of the dark brown has been cut off. It's so fun to see him grow and change and also unbelievable at the same time!

Last night Dad put the kids to bed and had this conversation with the oldest. K: "Dad, why do you have whiskers and Mom doesn't? Dad: "Well, Heavenly Father just made Moms and Dads differently.". Dad: "Are there other ways that Moms and Dads are different? K: "Um. Moms have. hair dryers.". I was laughing so hard when I heard that!

We don't even have very many trees in our yard but we filled 12 yard debris bags with leaves. There are many yards around here that are completely covered with leaves! Leaf clean up is big business - and a lot of work! The best part about it. the blue sky and dry leaves! Hooray for the weather here - we love it!

We had a very fun day last Friday when we got some unusual snow! The kids were out of school and we made the best of it! Here is a picture of our home with no snow. (this was actually taken before we bought the home last summer). Anyway, I can promise you the front yard is not the easiest to mow. Yes, it's pretty steep.
