We tried hard but lost the game by 2 goals meaning our day was all over. So I was able to spend the time watching the other Narrabri teams play and take some photos. At the beginning of the year i signed up to play 3 carnivals, i did this mainly due to the cost and thought if i had the spare money or want to play more i would upgrade my rego. I decided to not upgrade my rego which would cost me $180 to just play another 1-2 carnivals. The polox memberships nearly costs me more than the rego on my BT50 😦. Red and white checks. After catching up with some friends that were competing i had crazy idea that next year I will take Lenny over and compete 😳 Lenny will only just turn 2 in February and the show is in March next year so that will be a big challenge, but hey we all need something to work towards don’t we? Another crazy idea we had this year was Narrabri Polocrosse would run a second multi-horse carnival…. 3 weeks after the coaching weekend … OMG we are crazy …. But all good the carnival was a success and we had 20 teams attend. Having only arrived back in Narrabri on the Sunday from Albury i didn’t think it was fair to expect Santenor to head to a show with no work for 10 days. So i headed into the local Narrabri show and did photography in the horse ring for both days. June 26, 2016. Polocrosse to showing and everything inbetween. August 10, 2016. Cruise and i played in a mixed team with some Quirindi, Bunnan players. We had a great weekend playing in the womens comp however we didn’t get any wins. I was super excited as with the lead up to the Narrabri carnival Cruise had not been ridden for 3 weeks but we still headed out and he may not be the best horse but there was no rodeo show either . The Narrabri club decided in 2015 to host the junior challenge which is a specific comp for junior polox players. They are able to play in a team with their friends from other clubs.
