Day to Day musings about mommy life with a child, husband, and two dogs. Monday, August 31, 2009. School has started and it has been good! It is so nice to hear how much your child loves school! I hope it continues! We have either ridden our bikes to school or walked. The first couple days were really hot in the afternoon, but it is starting to cool off. I have heard only positive things about walking and riding. Friday, August 21, 2009. We have had a lot of fun! I love seeing all the girls together!

I turned 40 this year and my daughter turned 10. I feel like my "baby clock" has started ticking again! Today made me appreciate having a 10 year old! Okay, back to the "girls day". Friday, August 29, 2008. Back to Gazelles Workout! Well, with the start of the new school year, I have gotten back on track with my training. I ran with Gilbert's Gazelles. On Wednesday. We ran a 7 mile Fartleck, so it was one minute of speed and 1 minute of rest 10 times. It was a difficult workout for me, since I haven't done much speed workout all summer (3 months! It was so hot and humid that morning! As you can imagine, I was pretty tired and hungry, but felt good that I had such a good workout.
