Wednesday, 21 December 2011. Thailand and Laos (pt 1). Happy Christmas and New Year to all of our Followers. We arrived back to Bangkok from Myanmar on 16 th. November and a few days later I said goodbye to Nic. And headed home to the UK for 2 weeks. My 90 year old Nan had been ill for a while and I decided to go home to spend some time with her. After being with Nic. Everyday for over 2 years it felt very weird leaving him behind. Whilst I was away Nic. Decided to go to Kanchanaburi. He headed to Chiang.

Saturday, 25 August 2012. India Part 4 - Ladakh - Pangong Lake Trip. Our next jeep-trip in Ladakh was an overnight stay Pangong Lake and we shared the jeep with 2 Italian Ladies. The condition of the road was shocking in places and it was a much scarier experience. We also had rain and low cloud just to add to the fun! The landscape was quite different to that on the Nubra Valley trip and we saw lots of beautiful wild flowers and more animals, including horses, yaks and marmots. Our basic home stay.

Friday, 18 November 2011. Goodbye Myanmar (Part 6 - Bago and Yangon), Hello Bangkok. We flew into Yangon and then got a bus to Bago. Hotels are located on the crazy busy highway, so it's not exactly quiet! We checked into a ropey hotel and decided that we'd have a morning sight seeing and then get back to Yangon. Thursday, 9 June 2011. On Wednesday 25 th. May we set off early and cycled out of Singapore along the coast to Changi. Point to get the ferry over to Malaysia. On the way we saw hundreds of ships in the harbour and lots of people doing their morning Tai. The small boat left once there was 12 people. We got on the bikes in the midday heat and cycled about 50 km to Desaru. How different from Indonesia? We have also seen lots of beautiful jungle, full of naughty monkeys. We cycled to Kota. Thursday, 6 October 2011. Thailand - Ko Lanta, Krabi, Phang Nga, Takua Pa and Phuket Hospital. We then spent 4 nights in my private room and Nic slept on the sofa. We also found out that we weren't insured as we weren't in the UK when we took out the insurance. So we ended up with a pretty hefty bill but at least the accident happened in Thailand, where they have good hospitals, and my injuries weren't any worse.
