Gadding About With Galahad. Living my pony dreams. July 23, 2015. July 23, 2015. My schooling field is looking very pretty at the moment. Just look at all the clover! In all that sea of white there is a little patch of pink making me very happy. Galahad is schooling very nicely at the moment. He usually takes a while to settle before he starts really listening properly but this week he has been good right from the start. Hopefully that is something which will continue. Gadding About With Galahad. Living my pony dreams. August 31, 2015. August 31, 2015. We are just jumping the pole in the middle at the moment. It took him by surprise the first time he saw it and he slid to a stop but after that he popped over it happily. I will fill in the gap soon so we are actually jumping the tyres themselves. It’s rather gratifying – we must be doing something right! It is still raining…. August 26, 2015. We are also getting the opportunity to perfect our puddle splashing technique&...

Gadding About With Galahad. Living my pony dreams. Exciting Weather and the Cutest Henhouse! July 28, 2015. July 27, 2015. My riding over the weekend has been rather damp. I managed to avoid the real downpours but there was a nice steady drizzle. The whole valley was looking pretty grey. Today was much drier but oh, the wind! It was very exciting and did some rather interesting things to Galahad’s mane. They also had the. July 23, 2015. July 23, 2015. Our neighbour’s fields are being cut for hay! Both po...

January | 2010 | Trouble with Tarq
https://troublewithtarq.wordpress.com/2010/01
Me and The Tarq. What does he do all the time? Archive for January, 2010. January 13, 2010. The weather is very cold! And although that unfortunately means no practise, as we have only an outside arena, we do still go out for a nice hack! The Tarq has no shoes so we don’t have trouble with the snow. Actually The Tarq trots around as if it’s nothing. No false steps! It’s very cold though, How to stay warm? Thermal underwear and thin socks. Top, ridingbreeches and thick socks. Now I am properly warm! Once ...

Gadding About With Galahad. Living my pony dreams. August 16, 2015. August 16, 2015. Wednesday was the day of the Exford Show. We go every year as it is such a lovely little event. My favourite part may be the used tack stall which always has so much I want to buy. I almost bought a gorgeous numnah this year but by the time I had made up my mind it was gone. This obviously wouldn’t be our class but look at the tiny foal! Yesterday we went for a dressage lesson which we shared with five other people so was.

Hafl on the Internet. As seen through Hafl's eyes - Hafl's view of prep day. Not really posted by . April 11, 2014. Do not know what this is all about, I just know, when my human comes and gets me from the paddock on Friday afternoon and is completely hectic it can just mean that we are about to go somewhere. Normally, during spring and summer, it is NOT for a hack. I realize that whenever I get a bath – a pretty cold bath! And I mean COLD! But worst thing about it – no rolling afterwards allowed. Still,...

A huge thank you to Patricia for her input for our Mental Training Series! The thing th...
