http://thephotositake.blogspot.com/2010/04/worldwide-pinhole-photography-day.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Today is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. So I'm going to try to get out sometime today to and use the pinhole lens I made. A while back, this will be the first time since then. I've been going through a dry spell photographically over the last little while, maybe this will get me going again. Hopefully I'll be able to get the photos from today up in a timely manner, my computer has been on the fritz lately. We'll see. Posted by Joel MacKenzie.

Friday, June 25, 2010. I'm trying to get back into taking more pictures and updating this blog more often. My wife was out and Reuben was in bed a couple days ago so if I was going to do anything it had to be inside. This is what I ended up with. The Photos I Take: Smashing Bottles
http://thephotositake.blogspot.com/2011/02/smashing-bottles.html
Sunday, February 13, 2011. My friend Alain had the great idea to try to get photos of smashing bottles. He supplied the room, bottles, lens, and just about everything else. I brought my flash and rigged up a way to trigger it when the hammer was in just the right spot. Here's the results:. All photos were taken in bulb mode at f/7.1 and ISO 100. Our makeshift trigger system worked much more easily than I thought it would. It actually worked the very first try! Posted by Joel MacKenzie. Very nicely done :).

Saturday, March 12, 2011. It Snowed A LOT this Year! Here's a picture out my front window. Yep, you read that right. It’s HOLLYHOWEphotography (caps for my name, no spaces) and I am a natural light portrait and wedding photographer in Moncton, New Brunswick. I love what I do and I’m obsessed with belly laughs (if you can make me laugh, you’re my favourite. Let’s face it – you’re ALL my favourite! Good light (golden hour pretty much anywhere) and a good cup of joe (not my hubby – ha! The caffeinated kind). So thrilled you’re here and checking out my work! Have a fabulous day!

Wan'der (v): Move slowly away from a fixed point or place, meander. It’s a complicated pursuit, inspiration. But, I’ve found there is one sure way to engage. That’s why once a year, in the heart of winter, despite life’s persistent demands…we go…to the woods of Maine. It took us awhile to achieve flow. Our visits are oddly different each year. The combinations and circumstances vary. But the guts are always the same. We’re there—together. We make excuses, and. We go for long walks, and. We share our work.
