Just another WordPress site. To everything there is a season. June 14, 2015. We finally came to the end of the wonderful Street Voices era on 4th March 2015, when we held our very last Street Voices session at 82 Akeman Street. We hope this website will continue to be an inspiration to anyone, anywhere, starting a music group for homeless and vulnerably housed people, or indeed any group of people looking for the joy and empowerment which making music together can bring. To everything there is a season.

In the nineteenth century, so...

Akeman Street CD | Street Voices

Just another WordPress site. Our very first album was recorded over the course of a few sessions in 2010 at our usual meeting space in Akeman Street. Peter Cook who first heard us at the Leper Chapel offered to record a few songs and the creativity of the Street Voices singers and songwriters led to enough material for a whole album. Listen to Nick Dominguez talking about the album:. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. You can buy the CD at Millers Music. On Sussex Street, Cambridge.
