Our goals are to provide service to an expanding population in Worcester County to children at risk for developmental delays. Preteens, teens, and adults at risk for social and educational delays can benefit from learning equine skills that would also provide them with an age appropriate activity through out their life. Improve overall physical fitness; increase core strength, low tone and flexibility; develop and improve coordination and balance; Increase physical awareness through guided body movement.

Goat kids arrive in spring, and offer many opportunities to understand the developmental process, and herd behavioral characteristics of these entertaining creatures. Hands on care and learning how to socialize animals, involves animal care with an ethical slant. Hoof n HOPE’s prickly mascot Hedgie . He is nocturnal and enjoys snoozing on a daily basis. Clients learn how to make enrichments for Hedgie and the other animals. Columbus teaches gentleness and offers calmness in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
