There is no way that i can stop the pain.unless i sit down.but i just have to let it go away on its own. and i have found myself subconsciously walking differently to try to make the pain stop but that never works. any help would be appreciated. Go and see a doctor. I had the same problem some years ago. that ended by a hip joint replacement-prosthesis. consult a good orthopaedic surgeon. Definitely is Sciatica.Look it up on the internet. See a doctor - anytime you have severe stabbing pain it requires a dr. visit.). I had it but i forgot wat its called. It made me stop soccer for a while. Massage your heel, and ice it. if it dosent go away in 4 days then see a local doctor, nothing scary, just a vist. You probably have some spurs.its very common. I have the same problem and my dr. told me it is tendonitis.
