Dickeybirds: December 2009
http://dickeybirds6.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 27, 2009. The Campbell Curse had been evoked. I warned Brian this would happen, but he didn't believe me. If you are blissfully ignorant of the Campbell curse it is because you a.) are not a Campbell b.) did not marry a Campbell or c.) never even knew a Campbell. Until Brian decided to buy his 1997 Land Rover. A project, he said. Four wh. While it was an easy fix, (the center differential lock had just slipped out) the prickle of unease became more persistent. Brian still doesn't realize...

Dickeybirds: September 2010
http://dickeybirds6.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 08, 2010. School has begun. Caden and Ry are now both catching the bus to the intermediate school. They were both excited for school to start. Caden has taken up the trumpet, and Ry continues to play the clarinet. Britt, breaking into a big grin, "Bob! It's Mr. Bob! Grabs the triangle and jumps it around the table. Me, sighing internally, "And what SHAPE is Mr. Bob? Britt "Silly Mom, he's a TRIANGLE." Note to self: word questions more carefully. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Dickeybirds: Happy Thanksgiving
http://dickeybirds6.blogspot.com/2011/11/happy-thanksgiving.html
Wednesday, November 23, 2011. So far we've started our Thanksgiving break off right. First we (in my opinion) had the cutest "disguised" turkey of all the class, and this is one turkey that can be assured he won't be recognized. Pucky, the turkey, is, of course, disguised as a hockey player. Caden, in the penalty box, embarrassed by his family waving! Caden, number 50. Til next post, ei. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dickeybirds: It's That Time of Year Again
http://dickeybirds6.blogspot.com/2013/11/its-that-time-of-year-again.html
Friday, November 08, 2013. It's That Time of Year Again. Last year the school called me at least 4 times, asking each time, "Are you aware that your child is wearing shorts? This year, (see my "organization" post, ha! Sigh Don't get me started on snowboots, gloves and hats. First, we have to find them, keep them hung up to dry, then force the poor child to wear them. Dickeybirds: February 2010
http://dickeybirds6.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 27, 2010. It always seem like we are so busy on this holiday, and we end up doing nothing. This year, it was on a Sunday, so we thought we'd make it extra special. We started with decorating. And card making. We discovered you can make valentine "snowflakes". A "heart" shaped hair-do. And most important (next to friends to share them with), are Clara's world famous chocolate dipped strawberries. Friday, February 26, 2010. Til next post,. We want current news! What is with this music?

Dickeybirds: ORGANIZATION
http://dickeybirds6.blogspot.com/2013/09/organization.html
Thursday, September 05, 2013. How's it working out for us? Well, we purchased and sorted school supplies for the littles, but in line with my current mission, and by learning the hard way, I knew to wait for the older boys until AFTER we had their schedules and need lists. One English teacher may want a spiral notebook, while another insists on a composite notebook. And for the big boys? Is this an ominous foreshadowing of our Future Organization Efforts? Let's just do this organization thing, shall we?
