Odisha Human Rights Violations. Young Advocate dead in Police firing. A practicing advocate was killed in police firing during a police-public clash at Bagalpur, about 30 km from here on Niali Road on Monday 23. August 2010 morning. While Cuttack (rural) SP Rajat Kanti Mishra and 15 other police personnel were injured in stone-pelting, at least 20 others are stated to have received injuries when police resorted to lathi charge to quell the protestors who had staged a road blockade since Sunday evening.
