Sunday, June 28, 2009. Sunday, June 14, 2009. Here is one of the little guys munching away on the flat leaf parsley. I need to harvest enough for my marinara but the tomatoes aren't ready yet. Hopefully, they will leave some for me. Saturday, June 13, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lakes Area Homeschool Adventure Club. Shade and Understory Plants. Ethereal template. Powered by Blogger.

The Threshing Circle: May 2010
http://weaversbottom.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. I made a new picassa album with a few goat shots in it. I am amazed that I have been neglectful of that. More recent shots will follow shortly. From compost to rose garden. Monday, May 17, 2010. Why is it that my distant family members disapproval of my homeschooly lifestyle bothers me more than random strangers? And on to the homeschool/homestead news:. The kids are doing well in their regular studies too. We are studying ancient civilizations now as I have decided that they ...

Sunday, July 19, 2009. Pollination in the butterfly garden. Monday, July 13, 2009. I always expect the summer to have more free time involved with it and end up exhausted after running from dawn until far after sunset. The days are long and full with the kids participating in reading clubs, classes, and swimming all over the place on top of the regular school stuff. Yes, we are one of those families that schools in the summer. Why would I do this terrible thing to my kids, you ask?

The Threshing Circle: August 2009
http://weaversbottom.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. Two more days until the Adventure Club meeting here. Tony and I have been spending extra hours cleaning up the garden beds in preparation for the fall planting and I have been in the school organizing the countless boxes of books, supplies and everything else you can think of. I have about 8 more boxes to go and am hoping to get that done tomorrow but I am pretty sure that is a pipe dream. Thursday, August 27, 2009. More sick and more work. In the meantime, he managed to get to a...

The Threshing Circle: April 2010
http://weaversbottom.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 23, 2010. Ages have passed since the last post. Since then, we have had 3 more kids. After 2 months of nursing, I have finally started milking Skyla and Cat. The babies are in with the bucks on the other side of the pen with very little painful pleading for milk - amazingly. The mamas are eating and insane amount of grain while being milked but they seem to be producing a little more every time. So, the adventure continues! Labels: Finally.Goat Milk.
