Shop Vicariously: Frye Melissa Button Suede Short Boots
http://www.shopvicariously.com/2010/10/frye-melissa-button-suede-short-boots.html
A place for things and the people who love them. Sunday, October 31, 2010. Frye Melissa Button Suede Short Boots. I bought these boots. Last week, and they should arrive on Monday. I've been wanting Frye boots. Amazing cowgirl boots that would have made me stand out a little less in the hipsterville that is my neighborhood. Except I wouldn't wear them with purple tights and a romper stolen from a 5-year-old. Anyway, why do I have so much trouble with Frye boots? Or boots in general? Labels: things to wear.

A place for things and the people who love them. Thursday, July 2, 2009. I am obsessed with Alice.com. It's gotten some press lately for good reason. You order things like toilet paper, shampoo, and dishwasher detergent online and get them shipped to you for free. Somebody called Alice.com "the Netflix of consumer packaged goods" (though I assume Alice.com does not actually want you to mail them back your used deoderant). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Amazon Contextual Product Ads. Things to play with.

A place for things and the people who love them. Monday, May 4, 2009. I've been in the market for a pair of slippers for a while now. I want something that will keep my feet warm while protecting them from the floor. But I'm afraid then I'll just end up with hot feet, which is gross and unpleasant. Ditto for shearling slippers. I also looked into memory foam footbeds. The problem there is that most of them look like the slippers I gave my grandma for Christmas in 1993. Labels: things to wear.

A place for things and the people who love them. Monday, June 23, 2008. Dear Downy Wrinkle Releaser,. I never stopped thinking about you, though. Sometimes I would look for you on the shelf at Duane Reade or Google you to see if you were still around, but nothing ever came of it. I even experimented with other wrinkle free sprays. But that's all it was. It never got serious; they were just too expensive. Not like you. Downy Wrinkle Releaser (travel size). Downy Wrinkle Releaser (full size). 160; . Now I...

A place for things and the people who love them. Friday, December 12, 2008. I really like Aaron Sorkin. This is not uncommon among people like me (Americans who watch a lot of tv and consider themselves smarter than most other Americans who watch a lot of tv). Definitely not. But I still watched all the episodes when it aired, and I'll still watch them repeatedly if you buy me the DVDs. I actually discovered Sports Night after both the West Wing and Studio 60. Now that I've seen Sports Night, I think...

Shop Vicariously: Michael Kors down coat

A place for things and the people who love them. Monday, November 1, 2010. Michael Kors down coat. So obviously after Project Runway's Gretchen-gate 2010. I am boycotting Michael Kors. I do not currently own anything by Michael Kors (or Michael by Michael Kors- what is with creating a separate brand with your first name? I'm looking at you Marc by Marc Jacobs). But now I never will. If I lived in a cold climate, however, I might have to take a break from my 5-day boycott to buy this coat on Eziba.

A place for things and the people who love them. Friday, May 30, 2008. I am a supertaster. Here is how the conversation will likely go (for privacy reasons, I have replaced my friends' names with their porn names):. Stovepipe Hawk: That [insert name of fancy and complicated dish here] was delicious. Me: Why thank you. Would anyone like some coffee? NoName Dartmouth: Yes, thank you, I would love some. Me: I'll just whip some up right now in my Bodum Chambord coffee press. Bodum Chambord Coffee Press.

Shop Vicariously: March 2009

A place for things and the people who love them. Saturday, March 28, 2009. I like wine, I really do. I like wine so much that when my husband asks if I want to split a bottle with him, I say yes. Sadly, there is always a difference between how much wine I want to drink before opening a bottle and how much wine I want to drink after the bottle has been opened. In economics we call this a time inconsistency problem. So whenever I agree to split a bottle of wine with my husband, one of two things happens:.
