I am so grateful for…well, several things. First, that I had such an amazing grandpa! The last thing I was going to mention was that around lunchtime on Oct. 14, I was chatting with my dad about how Pappy was doing, when he typed something like, “We’re all here in the room, do you want to call? Mayah’s 2nd Birthday. I have more to say, so I’m just going to go ahead and post for the second time today! I know, crazy! Maybe I’ll do a third post before the day is over…who knows? Now Let’s Think This Through…. Do I want to go to the park today? First, I have to pack a lunch. Then I have to pack up the diaper bag. Then I have to wake Sofia up early from her nap. Then I have to load up both girls in the car. Soon after we get to the park, I will have to feed Sofia. Then it will be time for lunch, and I’ll have a wiggly almost-3-year-old to convince it’s time to not play and eat, at least a little bit. Then I will feed solids to Sofia. She takes a long time. I might be grouchy.

So, we drove the 25 hours straight through and arrived to find four very excited (and cute) nieces waiting for us. And a sister! Spending time with Robyn and Daryl and the girls was the highlight of the trip, but we did do other fun things too. I must add that Nova Scotia is very, very pretty. We saw some outstanding scenery!
